Assistance with Shopping
Did you know that when you grocery shop you can help the center out? 14th & Chestnut Community Center has just enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program and Meijer Perks Program. The center will receive a donation each month based on a percentage of sales by our enrolled members. Please go online to krogercommunityrewards.com and register your Kroger Plus card with our organization. Kroger has assigned the center with the NPO number 80372.

Monetary Donations/Monthly Giving

The Center relies on the donations from the community to remain open. We are looking for churches, individuals, and businesses to come alongside us and commit to a monthly donation. All donations are tax-deductible. Checks made payable to the 14th and Chestnut Community Center can be

Fall/Winter Needs

We are currently in need of the following:
-Craft supplies: craft kits, construction paper, glue, etc.
-Tutors to help children with homework from 3-5pm Monday through Thursday
-Video Games for XBox and Playstation 2; game systems
-Snack foods for the kids after school each day (snack
cakes, pretzels, crackers, chips, fruit cups, etc.)
-Meat to serve for dinner

Food Pantry Needs

Items such as canned foods, boxes of food, or meat can be donated to the food pantry to help out families in need.
Clothing Needs

Packages of socks and underwear for all ages are needed, as well as fall and winter clothing for boys and girls of all ages.
Merit Mart Needs

When children at the Center behave well, win a contest, get good grades, or do something good we reward them with Merit Money. The Merit Store is open once a week for them to spend their merit money on hygiene products, toys, school supplies, etc. We need donations of the following items for the store:
- *Candy bars and candy
- *Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes
- *Large stuffed animals, dolls, action figures
- *Costume jewelry, lotion, toys, cars, games, sports equipment, etc.
